Welcome! If you landed on this tab, you may wonder how my photography and videography journey, Moments by Melody Nolan, began. I guess you could say it has always been under the surface, as I constantly feel the drive to capture and create.
From a young age, I can remember being outside exploring, and this is where my urge to capture moments began. Whether it was rustic scenery, nature, or goofy times with fam- I found beauty in the moments and thought how cool is it to pause time & be able to look back on a memory forever?
This passion has followed me throughout my life in whatever I am doing, and I have always been involved in the arts from dance, singing, creating videos, etc!
As you know this passion to create content stemmed the beginning of my blogging journey, where I purchased my first professional camera and really started to gain experience by taking photos and videos of myself, family & things I enjoy such as home decor, fashion, travel, fitness & more. I also taught myself how to edit by doing so!
This drive to create has sparked so much light in my life, and I feel a calling to help capture these moments in time for others to cherish. Through unexpected step ins for friends who needed pics during their wedding, to a faulty vendor that turned into me choosing to create our own wedding video that my husband and I deserved, and more- these “struggles” became an opportunity from God that landed in my lap. A talent I didn’t realize had potential, but it was an outlet that I prayed for, and I choose to take it and run with it. Through these unexpected avenues, I found my purpose.
